Documentary Wrestling Film now released for public viewing!
6/18/2021

Hello Wrestling Fans! Just getting the word out that the documentary film “The Price of Legacy: Wrestling With A Dynasty” has finally been released. Filming began in 2016 overcoming many delays and challenges over the years but the project is now complete and available for public viewing. Chance Leonard hired a serious crew of top in nation professionals for his project and invested 5 years and a lot of money to make this happen. It did just win the Best Film in the recent Tennessee Film Festival! I am told that it is now available on Amazon Prime, iTunes and Google Play. I hope you all will support his huge investment to highlight our sport of Wrestling in a movie film. It features some clips from our Perry Novice Tournament and youth level wrestling as well as our Oklahoma State High School Tournament. Hope you Enjoy! Spread the exciting news to your extended Wrestling Family as well. Don Huff Perry Youth Wrestling “The Next Generation”

New Div V weights
12/9/2019

Attention Clubs, The new Div-V Weights have gone into effect. The OSSAA changed the Jr. High Weights in October. OKWA in an effort to keep Div-V inline with Jr. High, has adopted those weight changes. Changing weight classes in the middle of the season creates some challenges with the website and we understand with some tournaments. OKWA is working to make sure we minimize the confusion and problems that comes with this challenge. Currently, the new weights have been added into the Div-V class. Until we are able to complete entries and results from previous tournaments, we need to leave the old Div-V weights in place. So we ask that you make sure from this point on that you enter your Div-V wrestlers at the new weights. The new weights are as follows – There will be a 2lb allowance for Div-V only after Jan 1st. 80 86 92 98 106 112 119 126 132 140 155 170 195 HWT Please contact your regional directors if you have any questions, Kevin Bryant OKWA Secretary Noble Takedown Club 405-760-5721 Kevin.bryant@okwa.us
